Queue a customer

Overview

A customer can queue himself in by using several methods:

  • QueueMe App
  • Mobile Website
  • Android Pass
  • Apple Wallet

For some customers, the methods mentioned above are not possible (e.g. smartphone battery is low, having a feature phone instead). In this case, we offer options to the Queue Manager to queue in his customers in a different way.

Text Message (Premium)

The Queue Manager can add a customer for text messaging by tapping on Register with SMS. Queue Manager

Within the dialog, the Queue Manager can enter the customer’s telephone number and an optional comment.

The optional comment will help the Queue Manager later on to identify the customer. It will be shown after calling the customer and in the called customer listing.

SMS

After being added, the customer will receive a confirmation text message, containg information about his queue position.

Offline Customer

The Queue Manager can add a customer without a phone by tapping on Add offline customer. Queue Manager

Within the dialog, the Queue Manager must enter a note to identify the customer later when he is called.

The customer note will help the Queue Manager later on to identify the customer. It will be shown after calling the customer and in the called customer listing.

Offline

After being added, the customer will receive a confirmation text message, containg information about his queue position.
